Kira M. Bonesteel, AIA

Kira Bonesteel, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB is a Project Architect at Turner | Ramirez Architects. She is from Georgia and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Architecture, Magna Cum Laude, in 2010. Kira then moved to San Antonio, TX and started volunteering in several community service opportunities and was the Emerging Professionals Director and Chair for AIA SA for 3 years. Kira and her husband decided to move their little family – Ebba the corgi, Bazzle the tabby cat, and Wheeze the ferret – to Corpus Christi in 2016. She immediately became active in our local AIA Corpus Christi Chapter, and has served as Secretary, Treasurer, President-Elect, President during the Pandemic and now Immediate Past President.

Kira specializes in various commercial, institutional, and BIM management integration, and she has worked on various different projects from medical, residential, multi-family, religious, higher-education, K-12, athletic facilities, and etc. She enjoys running, tennis, her pets, gardening fruit trees/ citrus/ topicals, and spending time with family and friends.
